ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVES@#The Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China put forward the idea of "promoting the equalization of basic public services". The utilization of basic public health services by the floating population is an important indicator to measure the equalization of basic public health services. This study aims to understand the intergenerational differences in the utilization of basic public health services between the older generation and the new generation of floating population, and to analyze the influential factors.@*METHODS@#We employed the personal questionnaire (A) of the national health and family planning dynamic monitoring survey on floating population in 2017. Pearson Chi-square test, bi-grouping logistic regression, and Poisson regression were applied to analyze the basic situation of the floating population and the intergenerational differences in the use of basic public health services between the new and old generations.@*RESULTS@#The proportions of the new generation and the old generation who had established the residents' health records in the inflow area were 36.42% and 34.96%, respectively, with the significant difference (@*CONCLUSIONS@#Although the coverage of basic public health services for the two generations of floating population is obviously different, the utilization of basic public health services of the floating population is still at a low level both in the new generation and in the old generation. There is an urgent need to improve the utilization of public health services for the whole floating population according to the characteristics of generations.

ABSTRACT

The case-based teaching was inserted in the lecture-based teaching in clinical microbiol-ogy. The teachers conducted the case-based teaching through proper selection of cases, leading students to discuss and analyze cases. The students explored and reported from the cases independently. Finally, the teachers summarized and evaluated from the case-based teaching. The combination of case-based teaching and lecture-based study stimulated the students' interest in learning and motivation, consolidated their theoretical knowledge, cultivated their abilities of self-learning and clinical idea, and made the correlation between the theory and the clinical practice closely. These methods improved the teaching quality of clinical microbiology.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the establishment, operation and performance of external quality assessment(EQA) system for microbial morphology and detection of special drug-resistance in clinical laboratory, and explore the value of the developed system in clinical application. Methods The pictures of known bacteria and fungi colony, gram staining and acid-fast staining from clinical microbiology were distributed to the participating laboratories in Gansu province twice a year at regular intervals. The pictures of standard knowledge points from CLSI,such as special drug resistance were distributed simultaneously. All the participating laboratories were required to complete the interpretation for the pictures and report their resuhs in a scheduled time. Then the resuhs were summarized and analyzed as 3 modes:complete consistency, general consistency and non-consistency.Results During the 2 years when the EQA system for microbial morphology and detection of special drug-resistance were performed for 24 times, the rate of annual complete consistency increased year by year and reached to 91.3% in 2015.Conclusion The EQA system based on the examinations of microbial morphology and CLSI standard knowledge points for clinical laboratory may supervise the staff of clinical microbiology laboratories in the hospitals at second grade or above to master the skills of morphological identification and learn CLSI knowledge points,so their professional skills of clinical microbiology could be comprehensively improved.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To determine the role of miR-155 in the pathogenesis of generalized myasthenia gravis (GMG) and the effect of dexamethasone (DXM) on miR-155.@*METHODS@#The expression of miR-155 in B cells from the GMG patients and healthy controls was analyzed by qPCR. The B cells were cultured with DXM and PBS. The B cell proliferation was examined by MTT; CD80 and CD86 frequencies were detected by flow cytometry; and anti-AChRIgG and isotypes anti-AChR-IgG1, 2, 3 in the supernatant were detected by ELISA.@*RESULTS@#qPCR revealed that the expression of miR-155 in the B cells was much higher than that in the controls, and the miR155 expression decreased after DXM treatment. flow cytometry showed that there was no significant difference in the proliferation and the expressions of CD80 and CD86 in the B cells between the DXM group and the PBS group. The concentration of anti-AChR-IgG1 was obviously lower in the DXM group than in the PBS group, but the concentration of anti-AChRIgG, anti-AChR-IgG2, and anti-AchR-IgG3 was similar.@*CONCLUSION@#high expression of miR-155 may be associated with myasthenia gravis progression. DXM may disturb the antibody class switch of B cells by suppressing the expression of miR-155 and improve the symptom of MG patients.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the function of serum myocardial enzymes on bronchiolitis disease with myocarditis in clinical diagnosis. Methods 91 children with bronchiolitis were hospitalized and 40 cases of the same period of non-infectious disease test results of serum myocardial enzymes were analyzed. Results In the test results of serum myocardial enzymes from 91 cases of bronchiolitis disease, the abnormal rate of Valley-Grass aminotransferase (AST) was 68.13%; the abnormal rate of creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) was 67.03%; the abnormal rate of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) was 56.04% ;the abnormal rate of creatine kinase(CK) was 32.97%. Compared with the control group,CK-MB,AST,LDH,CK were significantly higher(P<0.01). Conclusion For thechildren with bronchiolitis disease, myocardial damage should be alerted and early detection of myocardial enzymes should be taken.

ABSTRACT

0. 05),cardiac index decreased from 12. 5% to 13. 3 % during hypotension (P 0. 05 ). It was concluded that PaCO2 can still be followed continuously and noninvasively by monitoring end-tidal CO2 tension during hypotension induced by PGE,
